Product Life Cycle & End of Life

The continuity of IC supply is important to our customers. In 3PEAK, starting from product sampling to our customers, the product goes through several statuses in its life cycle. The product statuses are preview, production, NRND, and EOL. Following table gives detail definitions for these statuses. 3PEAK’s product life cycles are typically more than 15 years to fulfill many customers’requirements.

Product Status Categories

3PEAK may obsolete the product when one of following conditions happens:
•   The foundry obsoletes the product related process and doesn’t provide wafer manufacture service to 3PEAK. 3PEAK partners with multiple independent wafer fabs in an effort to minimize this risk.
•   The product hasn’t had sales within 5 years
•   The product has very low market demand and 3PEAK has released alternative products in production
